Sergei Zhuravlev
Senior Full Stack Engineer
MSc in Software Engineering
Senior .NET / C# / Java engineer with 20+ years building high-volume systems for banks, trading desks, and large retail. Based in Dubai, working remotely with clients across Australia, the EU, the UK, Switzerland and the GCC. I design microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven platforms, containerised on Docker/K8s with CI/CD on Azure DevOps and Jenkins. In the AI era I'm the engineer called in to fix what AI can't: undocumented bugs, AI-slop code no one can untangle, agents stuck in loops, and legacy systems whose authors are long gone. I run coding agents with proper harnesses — including DevServer, my own development harness.
About
For more than 20years I've designed software the way the ancients designed monuments — to last. As a digital nomad I've worked from 42 countries, and the structures rolling behind this page are the very places that shaped how I think: the Great Pyramids of Giza, the dry-stone walls of Machu Picchu, the basalt megaliths of Nan Madol, the tiled domes of Samarkand, the hydraulic gardens of Sigiriya.
Standing before them, the same lesson kept repeating itself: these works have survived centuries because their builders respected structure, proportion, load paths, and the honest constraints of their materials. Nothing decorative held them up. Everything essential did.
That is exactly how I approach architecture in code. Every system I build for a client — microservices, event-driven platforms, trading engines, banking integrations — starts from those same first principles: solid foundations, clean load paths, and decisions that still hold up long after the scaffolding comes down. My goal on every project is the builders' goal: to leave behind something fundamental, professional, and built to keep working for years.
